The motion will say that after prosecutors Booth Goodwin and Steve Ruby left the United States Attorney’s office that the government began to provide to my attorneys information that would have been helpful to my defense but that had not been provided before trial. This is information the government was legally obligated to provide me for my defense.
The media for many years has caused people to think that Don Blankenship was tried for having caused the Upper Big Branch Mine (UBB) explosion. Williamson, W.Va. - Don Blankenship, former CEO of Massey Energy Company and candidate for U.S. Senate, issued the first ad in a series that will highlight his professional and political accomplishments, and involvement within his community. Don Blankenship’s opponents like to make sound bite statements such as “Don put profits before safety.” These types of statements are made to distract from the truth and to protect politicians who do nothing to make miners safer. The media, the politicians and in particular Senator Joe Manchin want the television and social media ads that are exposing the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s (MSHA) Upper Big Branch (UBB) cover-up to stop. Some in the media even say the UBB explosion is old news, and they say “no one cares about that anymore.” But that is wishful thinking on their part.
Below is a timeline that will interest anyone who wants to learn the UBB truth. Also attached is one of the man

MSHA was instead focused on finding support for President Obama's and Chief Coal Regulator Kevin Stricklin's proclamations
